How to Create a New Commercial Invoice by Using a New and Ready-To-Use Template
A commercial invoice is a formal and legal document that can be used as proof of a transaction in a business. Usually, it is kept by both parties for some finance or accounting purposes in the future, such as auditing process, counting the tax for the organisation, and many more.
If you do not have a template that you are ready to use yet for the trades and transactions of the business, you will have to create one so that you can use them in the future too. By creating a commercial invoice template ready, you can easily edit and modify them depending on the transactions that happen with different clients and customers as well.
What information should be included in a commercial invoice? Different details should be provided in the invoice and template itself especially since it is a formal document that both parties will have to file properly.
The invoice itself will be created by the seller and issued to the buyer. At the bottom of the document, both parties will need to sign the document to make it valid to show as proof that both parties are in agreement with the transaction. For all transactions (national and international trades), a commercial invoice can be issued to the buyer by the seller.
In editing a new template that you want to use for your commercial invoice, you have to make sure that you have the company’s logo and name clearly stated on the top of the page on the invoice, along with detailed information of the company’s address and contact phone number.
Other than that, you will also have to state the buyer’s detail and company information on the invoice as well. Since the invoice is going to be proof of purchase or payment, then all the details about the product or goods that are involved in the transaction will need to be stated on it too.
