The Issue of Final Employee Warning by Using a Form
A warning letter is a formal type of document that is issued by a company because of a behaviour issue that is conducted by the employee. Usually, this type of letter is issued because the employee has already received a verbal warning beforehand and they are still repeating their mistakes.
To make sure that employees do not keep on repeating their misconducts, the company takes a more direct approach in handling conflicts that could occur in the future too. These conflicts could happen between the employee and the organisation or it could happen between employees as well.
In the work environment, the management has every right to control all of their employees. After they have been warned a few times verbally, there will be a written warning followed by the employee warning form that needs to be filled out by the HR department.
This form is to be used as a record and documentation of the written warning to the employee. It can also be used as proof and agreement with the employee that if they keep repeating the same misconducts, they could receive more severe consequences such as a demotion or lose their work depending on the severity of the case.
Some of the cases that happen regularly in a workplace could result in employees receiving an employee warning form such as, coming to work late (more than once or twice in a week), leaking out company’s information, not fulfilling their work responsibilities, and duties, and many more.
Most of these warnings do not always result in employees’ dismissal from the company as the warnings could also be able to help them in fixing and changing their behaviour for the better in the future as well. However, if after several warnings they still regularly do their misconducts, a final warning letter could be issued too which could lead to their dismissal from the company.
